I was disappointed in this cake and food decorating kit. As a novice to cake decorating I was upset that this kit did not come with instructions to show what each attachment would do. I ended up returning it and buying a different product.

The coupler and bags work quite well and so do the food colorings. Speaking of which, I probably should check that they are not leaking all over my closet floor...

I have bought this item because of all good opinions I found at Amazon. I thought it was going to be more easy, but some disk are very difficult to make the cookies. However, the product has a very quality look, easy to handle.
It would be better if a good recipe booklet would come with it. Only two pages are included.

I have had this press for about 3 years now and I really like it...when it isn't broken. The plastic ring that holds the decorating plates in place has broken on mine twice. :( It just doesn't seem to be strong enough to handle the pressure necessary to hold back the dough when in use. The company did replace the part for free for me the first time...I'm hoping they will again, but how many times is it going to break? And will they continue to replace it?
UPDATE: I HATE this cookie press. After 3 replacements on the ring, it continues to break. This is worthless and only ends up making me angry when I try to use it. If I could change it to ZERO stars, I would in a heartbeat.

An classic and awesome little set that I am grateful to own. It's a entertaining cook's essential. Perfect for all pastry and large decorating needs. It's stores away very compactly too. Just be sure to clean the cutters in hot soapy water and dry right away. I dry all tips and cutters in the oven on warm.
